Normally far-east manufacturing requires a very high MOQ to be viable, this is a
norm for most of Edac’s competitors.
Edac customers however can take advantage of the collective volumes generated by
our global customer base and enjoy highly competitive pricing matched with guaranteed
quality at modest MOQ levels. In addition our lead-times are amongst the fastest
in the industry – as little as four weeks when circumstances require it – and all
available through the local Edac Europe UK based office.
Apart from the standard combinations of, for example, waterproof, USB, RJ45, RJ11,
D-Sub and mini DIN Edac has the capability to produce entirely customised assemblies
with virtually any combination of connectors as required for the specific application.
We will even produce assemblies without connectors incorporating components such
as micro-switches, LEDs, battery-holder terminals, mini-microphones and a host of
other components.
Amongst our biggest customers are European-based cable houses that want a competitive
far-eastern supply of ‘standard cables’ to compliment their own production of high-value,
low-volume assemblies, thus offering their own customers a competitive one-stop-shop
for all their cable needs.
